Hogan recently celebrated the Grand Openings and Groundbreakings for several projects. Congratulations to everyone involved!
Kaysville Jr. High Field House Groundbreaking – March 26, 2026
The new Field House will house basketball courts, an interior running track, locker rooms, team rooms, and equipment storage. At the groundbreaking, speakers from the school and district highlighted the benefits to both students and the community, noting that community members will be able to use the field house outside of school hours.
Davis Emergency Operations Center Ribbon Cutting – March 27, 2026
The first-of-its-kind in Davis County, the new Davis Emergency Operations Center will be a hub for emergency responders to strategize how to move forward during an emergency. It will also serve as an overflow for emergency operations centers in other counties, if needed.
Highland High School Groundbreaking – April 22, 2026
At the groundbreaking, people enjoyed Highland ‘H’ donuts, heard performances by the Madrigals and school band, and listened to speakers from the district, Student Government, and the school's alumni.
Springville High School Ribbon Cutting – May 18, 2026
At the community open house, people were able to explore the new, state-of-the-art facility. Additionally, at the event, there were performances by the Springville High Choir Union and the Chamber Singers, as well as speeches by district leaders and the school principal. The new school will help support students for generations to come!
Wildland Fire Operations Center Ribbon Cutting – May 20, 2026
The Wildland Fire Operations Center includes an Administration and Operations Building that provides space for leadership and office functions, where crews can plan and prepare to extinguish fires. The Governor attended the ribbon-cutting, where he spoke about the importance of fire safety and how critical this center will be when fighting wildfires in our state.
Nephi Readiness Open House – June 2, 2026
The new Nephi Readiness Center is the new home to three UNG Units that can operate in severe crisis mode, including the 1457 Delta Company. The new building helps revitalize the original Nephi Armory from the 1930s and represents a significant investment in the future of the Utah Army National Guard and the soldiers of the 1457th Engineer Battalion.
