The Common is Millcreek City's first piece of their new city center and is a gathering place that features Utah's largest outdoor ice skating area.

It was an interesting and challenging project, and it’s great to see people enjoying it!


Project Success

The team embedded refrigerant pipes every three inches throughout the 11,725-square-foot rink to maximize cooling capabilities.

It's kind of fun to bring back this area of excitement...it was taking this blighted land that can't be used for anything else and creating something new, a gem and jewel for the city.
