Memorial Courthouse Restoration

Davis County Government

The courthouse restoration provides a community hub with ample green space for downtown Farmington!

Dave Wilde

Superintendent

“We carefully jacked up the building in certain areas and slid footings underneath it to reinforce the structure.”

Project Details

Davis County’s courthouse was the first courthouse built in Utah. We carefully demolished the 1950s and 70s additions, restored the interior to its 1932 appearance, and protected the World War I memorial stained-glass window.

It now serves as a modern, adaptable office and gathering space for Davis County personnel. Ultimately, we preserved this beloved landmark for future generations!

I felt like Hogan had a vested interest in this and wanted a quality project for the community and us.”
