Christa McAuliffe Space Center

Christa McAuliffe Space Center is an out-of-the-box, Disney-esque space center designed and constructed on a K12 budget.

This is a huge step up. They had a portable planetarium before that they had to inflate, but this is a new level, a real planetarium with additional programming.

Project Success

To provide a realistic space simulation, the team soundproofed all the doors and walls, so the noise didn’t transfer between simulators.

The space center has been a part of the community since the early 80s, so this was a way to take what they had and make it better. This center will give more kids more opportunities and experiences.
