Davis County Center for the Performing Arts (CenterPoint Legacy Theatre)
Centerville and Bountiful theater groups, along with visionary community leaders, inspired the creation of the new home of the Centerpoint Theater organization. This 57,500-square-foot project is a functional, cost-effective option to the high-budget opulence of recent performing arts facilities. It consists of a 530-seat theater, a 150-seat black box theater, lobby/gallery, three rehearsal rooms, dressing rooms, and green rooms. It also contains classroom/rehearsal spaces, outdoor public areas, technical and storage support spaces, and a permanent artistic and administrative home for the Centerpoint Theater organization.
The Hogan Advantage
With a soil import/export strategy as part of an extensive cost-savings analysis and implementation, Hogan strictly controlled the budget so the cities of Bountiful and Centerville were able to afford the black box theatre previously in jeopardy of being cut from the project.
