The Immigration Reform and Control Act requires employment eligibility certification for all employees. All job offers are contingent upon completion of the I 9 verification process.
Utah State law S.B. 81 requires that all employers use E verify, an electronic system established by The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Social Security Administration (SSA), to verify the identity and employment eligibility of all newly hired employees (including U.S. citizens).
Click here for more information on E Verify.
Candidates who accept a conditional offer of employment may be subject to employment verifications, education verifications, and additional verifications and reference checks may also be conducted.
Pre employment drug testing is required. Hogan & Associates Construction enforces a strict, no tolerance, drug and alcohol program. We test all employees at hire as well as all employees involved in OSHA recordable incidents. We also conduct testing in the event of reasonable suspicion and at random points during the month. A full copy of the Drug & Alcohol policy is always available to all employees on every job site.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
PPE will be provided as required by OSHA. Every new employee will receive a hard hat, safety glasses, chums, fluorescent vests and gloves. Employees are required to bring this equipment to work daily. A sturdy boot is also required for the job.
Required Personal Tools List
Hogan Construction expects new employees to have the appropriate tools and know how to use them. We will provide all new employees with a list of the tools that they must acquire.
