The Immigration Reform and Control Act requires employment eligibility certification for all employees. All job offers are contingent upon completion of the I-9 verification process.

Utah State law S.B. 81 requires that all employers use E-verify, an electronic system established by The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Social Security Administration (SSA), to verify the identity and employment eligibility of all newly-hired employees (including U.S. citizens).

Click here for more information on E-Verify.

Candidates who accept a conditional offer of employment may be subject to employment verifications, education verifications, and additional verifications and reference checks may also be conducted.

Pre-employment drug testing is required.  Hogan & Associates Construction enforces a strict, no tolerance, drug and alcohol program. We test all employees at hire with random tests every month, all employees involved in OSHA recordable incidents, and for reasonable suspicion. A full copy of the Drug & Alcohol policy is always available to all employees on every jobsite.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

PPE will be provided as required by OSHA. Every new employee will receive a hard hat, safety glasses, chums, fluorescent vests and gloves. Employees are required to bring this equipment to work daily. A sturdy boot is required for the job.
