Hogan & Associates Construction has immediate openings for GENERAL LABORERS to work in Clearfield Utah. Performs a variety of tasks such as removing forms from set concrete, inspecting, fixing, and maintaining company tools and equipment, loading and unloading materials, grade gravel or dirt by hand, assist everyone on the jobsite, runs errands, etc. Employment offers are contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug test and Physical Abilities test. Must be able to drive a pick-up truck with trailer to semi with trailer. Must have a current CDL A, clean driving record and current medical card. LEAD CARPENTER

A commercial construction background is required. Must have extensive experience finishing poured concrete floors, measuring and laying out contraction joints for the sawing and jointing of concrete slabs. Hogan & Associates Construction is looking for a PROPOSAL WRITER to be responsible for supporting the pursuit of new work through excellent written materials in the form of requests for qualifications, proposals, design-build submittals and interview efforts. This person will research, plan, coordinate, manage and develop the compositions necessary to communicate the Hogan story with authenticity, creativity and integrity. The primary duties of the job will be to investigate and write authentic and compelling stories about the firm, our services and results, key personnel and our projects, ensuring that information is conveyed clearly, accurately and in an appealing manner that is in alignment with Hogan's overall brand. Creating these print and electronic documents with the highest quality is the main responsibility of this position; as the documents must be reviewed by directors and via other executive level reviews and will ultimately influence selection committee members in awarding ongoing work for our firm.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications marketing, mass media, construction management (CM) or related field is preferred, but not required.
- Candidates with construction industry experience are highly desired; however persons with exceptional architectural, engineering and real estate development experience and references will also be considered. Applicants with a minimum of five years experience in proposal and presentation development will be given preference; however those with less will be considered only if written evidence is provided that is compelling to our review committee. Those without any marketing experience in the fields of A/E/C/D will not be evaluated.
- In addition, individuals with construction experience, particularly in the administration of projects (managers, engineers, superintendents, assistants, etc.) who can demonstrate an a clear aptitude for writing are also encouraged to apply.
Competencies and Skills
- A well-developed talent for translating highly-technical information into written communications for the general public that are thoughtful, organized, logical and easy to digest
- Excellent proposal development skills with a heavy emphasis on exceptional written communications skills
- Skill in proofreading, editing and standardizing proposal text for proper grammar, spelling, comprehension and style
- Ability to demonstrate ownership of all assignments, asking for clarification/direction as necessary
- Aptitude with participating in collaborative project teams and coordinate deliverables/deadlines through all phases of a marketing project
- Ability to adhere to deadlines while working on multiple, diverse projects
- Knowledge of how to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment while consistently producing collateral and support material of exceptional quality
- Capable of working with co-workers of diverse responsibilities, backgrounds and education levels
- Demonstrated follow through of printing and assembling final proposal packages
- Design and production of presentations for interviews/business development and materials including presentation software, boards, leave behinds and any other supporting documents
- Must possess a positive, can-do attitude. A willingness to eventually expand the position into other areas of marketing is also important.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Acrobat essential; experience with PowerPoint and other presentation platforms a plus. Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, CRM and/or any helpful software programs preferable, but are not requirements for the position.
